North Lake Villas — Assisted Living & Memory Care

Our Stories

North Lake Villas Story

Once upon a time a little girl that tagged along with her musician sister and their father who was head of an organic group, formed to fill the need to care for senior adults who had survived World War II, but their families had not. The usual order of family taking care of previous generation had been broken. Unable to self-care or to turn to family, they lived together in a home; he saw to every aspect of their life. The big sister entertained, with numerous musical instruments.

The little girl saw everything: the little jokes, the laughter, the pleasure of her sister's music, the attention to every kind of detail, her father's thoughtfulness. She grew up thinking about life, daily tasks, navigation, mental-physical need from their point of view; she grew up knowing the family business doing for "eldsters."

Our Stories

Better Than a Prince

All grown up and Chief in Charge of Care, Nourit Braun found her match in a man as thorough, thoughtful, skilled in his field as she. Under Benyamin's construction and supervision the Villa was transformed to a real home. Together every square inch of life at the Villa anticipated, considered, prepared for those entrusted to be cared for after hospitalization, after illness/disease, after on-set of Alzheimer's/dementia, whom together with their families are put on a new and difficult path…. Following his parents footsteps, our son Adam has joined NLV team, adding young, vibrant energy and additional new and special social activities, bringing joy and fresh youth environment, tremendously enjoyed by our residents, families and staff.

Dignity, first

Every choice — from the menu to the décor to the daily routine — is made to honor the lives our residents have lived.

A real home

Not a facility. A house where the kitchen smells of dinner, the porch is for sitting, and the garden is always in bloom.

Family-run

Nourit, Benyamin, and Adam are here, every day. You will know us by name, and we will know yours.

Come walk through the rooms.

Sit on the porch. Meet the staff. We would love to show you around — and to meet your family.
